Help from Marquette students

Hey guys I just got accepted at Marquette and I am way excited. I am starting to think of what I need to do to get moved out to WI. I am from Idaho so I will be making a huge trip out with my wife/daughter.

I am married and looking for a house to buy or a good place to rent w/ at least 3 bedrooms. Any tips from you about this or at all about Marquette? Are there any places really close to the school that are nice areas? Any places I should avoid? What things did you guys do that worked good or didn't work? Anything I should watch out for?

What about the school do I need to know?
