Hi there,

I need your help.

the program I'm interested in is having the meeting for ranking next week.

do you think it's important that I should try to meet with all committee members? (only some of them plus several other faculties interviewed me during my visit.) I did go back to talk to the PD a week later telling him again that the program is my first choice...what else I need to do in order to ...?

O.k... that was a joke. Are applicants being invited back for/prior to this ranking filibuster? If not I'd advise you to keep at a distance... it sounds to me like you've already done everything you can... there's a very fine line b/w being assertive & showing interest and being aggressive & annoying... you don't want to cross that. Perhaps you could send a formal letter to each of these committee members? A short, brief, succint (see where I'm going with this) MS-Word document re-expressing your genuine interest and intent to rank them #1? You could e-mail them to the program secretary and request that she forward them to the intended recipients. Good luck to you!
