So I have applied to about 20 schools, got interviewed at 4, rejected about about 8, and still waiting to hear Applied Late August but didn't take the DATs until October.

total cum gpa: 3.64
sci gpa: 3.44

I went to ucla for undergrad..

DAT
taken October 11, 2010 (really late into the cycle)
AA: 19
TS: 18
PAT: 17
(Due to medical issues, I had to delay studying for it and only got to study for about 3 weeks)

I am not sure I am going to get anymore interview offers or acceptances this cycle and I don't know what I should do... Do you guys think I should just study for the DATs and try to get higher scores and reapply? I am on my way to applying to Post Bacc Programs and Masters Programs but I dont know if I should continue with this plan. What is the most feasible to do?

Right now I am applying to SFSU Postbac, Boston's MA. Medical Sciences, and Midwestern's Biomedical Science program.

Help would really be appreciated..

remain hopeful. If this cycle isn't fruitful, bump those dat scores up and apply early next cycle....i dont think a post-bacc is needed but it does show commitment. Masters would be better. just my $0.02 worth.

Best of luck

I got interviewed at USC and Midwestern AZ, and got waitlisted at USC and probably will get waitlisted at MidwesternAZ (will find out this week).

Basically, ur application wasn't ready till around mid november... right? since ur DAT scores don't reach AADSAS till like 4 weeks later. I'd say this is your BIGGEST problem right there, u were very late.

You honestly DON'T need a masters nor post-bacc because... well u have good GPAs. Its March, you only have 1 option and its not mandatory: Retake the DAT again before you apply this June. And do apply again to 20 schools

Your scores are fine. Apply the first week in June and kill the interviews you get. You seem like a sound applicant on paper. G'luck.
