Hey -

I'm BCPM 3.45, 3.55 overall, 32S

ECs: loads of international healthcare work (HIV educator, church missions, etc), strong interest and exp. with medically underserved, hospice, clinical, research (all that jazz), some other cool crap

I dont have time/money to finish all these...maybe like 3...theyre my "reaches" - what do you guys think I would fare the best chance at? (I know its late in the game)

Emory, Georgetown, USC, OHSU, Madison, Tufts....

I know my stats are low but I have a distinct stance and strong emphasis on cultural diversity and healthcare access...some unique stories stories

emory's pretty big on global health... your work abroad might help you out there. the secondary's not bad either. :luck:

Sorry I'm adding rather than helping you narrow them down, but GWU also really likes students interested in international health. They have a global health track and send 35 students abroad a year.

EDIT: Ah, I see you already applied to GWU. I guess I'd say USC, Emory and _______. Good luck.

as a CA resident, you won't have priority at OHSU, so you might want to consider not applying to that one.

so tufts is pointless?

there averages dont seem too high and they seem to like diversity?

isn't tufts one of the schools with a whoooole lot of applicants every year?

I would say Tufts, Georgetown and USC. Wisconsin and OHSU have an in-state bias and Emory is a very competitive school. Georgetown, with its cura personalis thing, likes community service, etc.
