Ok, so as of tomorrow I have exactly 18 days left to go. At this point I've "gone through" everything, but I don't feel as if I have "mastered" any one subject. My Qbank scores are totally pathetic, ranging from the mid 50's to the occasional 70. Usually I'm somewhere in the 60's. I really don't want to postpone, and the problem is, that because of some personal committments, even if I do postpone it has to be to the end of July. What kind of a score am I looking at right now and if I study my butt off until the exam what can I get it up to? Is it possible for me to AT LEAST match the mean? What's the best thing I can do from now until the exam to maximize my score as much as possible? Someone help!!! :scared:

Calm down dear ..... and take NBME exam...... that will really tell you where u stand .... from what I have seen, Qbank for most people who did really well ranged upwards of 70% (Step 1 >235) .... this is a general idea nothing hard and fast ....

After taking the NBME reassess what you need to study and then go again.... 18 days is a lot of time from what I have seen from this board...so calm down and see where you stand and march on

👍 👍 👍 good luck :luck: :luck: :luck:

hey man

i also freaked out during my Step 1 days, so i hear ya.

But listen, dont freak. Man, just go through some of the salient stuff again (pharm, phys, path). Do questions galore. try doing the questions for the stuff you read...that will help you 'master'. do that for the next 5 days.

then you should have 13 days. i'd hold of on the nbme's til about 6 days before the actual exam. but that's just me. oh, and mk sure you take a break!!! but otherwise, cram as much info into your head as possible. i know its rough...but you can do it!!
