I submitted my intern application to the CA BOP four weeks ago. They processed the application within 2 weeks and found that the form filled out by my school was incorrect. They wanted the date of graduation to be filled out as month, date, and year. But the school filled it out as month and year. I can understand this error from my school because CA just changed the form a month or so ago.
I e-mailed the school with the forms that needed to be filled and letter that needed to be attached. The school said that they filled and sent it out the next day. After a week, I e-mailed the CA BOP for my intern application status/update. They responded a week later with:
"Upon review of your file, your application is still pending the processing of your submission."
Now, I'm getting really worried. I need my intern license for my rotation that starts on Monday, 4 business days from now. If I don't get my CA license by Thursday, I will have to leave beautiful San Diego and go Kentucky where my school will assign me another retail IPPE rotation.
Help! Have you had to resubmit a form to fulfill your application? How long did it take?
