I am looking to apply in Fall of 2004 So i was wondering how to get information on schools, do some send out booklets and information. As well how long in advance should you start studying for the mcat in august 2004 3 months ?. Thanks!

AAMC publishes MSAR (med school admission requirements) that has info on application procedures, fees, stats on acceptance ranges, etc, on all med schools in the US and Canada. Here's the link to their site: http://services.aamc.org/AAMC_Store/itemDetail.cfm?store=PUBLICATIONS&item=ARA4&category=

As to how long you should study for the MCAT, that's all up to you. It all depends on how well you already know the subjects and how you do on standardized tests. Also, go to the MCAT forum and see how long other people studied and what how they did on the test.

~good luck~
