Hi,

I am a medical graduate from India and m applying for MPH in International Health / Epidemiology for Fall 2008.

My GRE score is 1300 (verbal 570 , quant 730) n my TOEFL iBT score is 112/120. I hav been working at a hospital in Mumbai for past 6 mnths and don't have any Public Health related work experience except that currently I m working on a WHARF Project on HIV & AIDS.

I have short listed the following schools and want to know what are my chances of getting in them.

1 U Cal Berkely
2 Univ Texas Houston
3 SUNY Albany
4 Univ of south florida
5 Alabama
6 Texas A & M
7 Boston SPH
8 Michigan
9 Minnesota

My only source of info is SOPHAS. I'd really like to know which would be safe schools with my score and also what should one include in the statement of purpose

thnx

I think you are good to go since you have a background in medicine.

Different school want different SOPs. Generally speaking, sell yourself the best you can.
