i am having a little trouble deciding where to go for postbacc, but i have narrowed it down to either penn, nyu, or university of miami. does anyone know anything pos/neg about these programs? i am originally from south florida, went to cornell, and live in nyc right now. do you think that one is looked at more highly than the others?

i really appreciate any help!!

Well, location shouldn't be a problem since you've lived in the East and down in Florida. I don't know much about post-bac programs for those who've never taken the pre-reqs, but my advice is to think about the rigor and difficulty of each program. You're at Cornell, so it's safe to say you're smart, and you shouldn't have a problem 🙂

Still, it comes down to grades, so choose the school where you know you can manage and do WELL. Also, think about the linkage agreements of the schools. Where do you want to end up? Mt. Sinai?--go to NYU. UPenn/George Washington?--go to Penn.

Best of luck
