Help! Maryland Says "File still under consideration for a possible interview"

Hi All - I just got an email from UMB saying that "Your file has been reviewed and remains under consideration for a possible interview. We will continue to interview until mid-March." Has anyone got this before and subsequently got into UMB? Or is this just a polite way of them saying I am rejected from them.

I thought I had pretty competitive stats for the school, but still no interview 🙁. It is my top choice and now Im not sure what will happen. What else does UMB look for? I have strong DAT 23TS, 22AA, and a GPA of 3.6-3.7ish, and shodowing experience.

Any insight or advice would be helpful? Are others getting interviews? If you did recently please let me know! Thank you. This is soo depressing as I thought I'd atleast catch this interview cycle 🙁🙁🙁

When did you take the DAT and submit your aadsas, maybe you submitted very late??

Aadsas submitted Early sept, DAT Mid September. I have had 1 pre dec 1 interviews at another school but nothing from UMB.. Other schools have contacted me about interviews.

I knew that my submission was late, but I didnt think it would be to late fore the second/later rounds of interviews. I hope this is not because my file was sitting "Incomplete/awaiting more info" for a month or so earlier this fall because of my deposited check not being reflected in my file until I called and asked how come my banks cleared teh check yet my file still says incomplete 🙁
