Hi all! Just got my MCAT score today, pretty happy with it - did slightly better on practices but I knew I messed up CARS as I was taking it. I've have a basic list, but would really like some input. Shooting for around 15 schools (but am open to changing this number!)
2017 B.S. Mechanical Engineering graduate (didn't decide to pursue medical school until midway through junior year)
cGPA 3.71
sGPA ~3.6
MCAT: 515 129/126/130/130
110 Hours volunteering at local hospital
~30 hours shadowing a family doctor
1.5 years of research in a biomechanics group (no publications, but poster)
2 summers working in a medical billing company
1 year leadership for an automotive design team (3 years of total involvement)
Working IT at a healthcare company starting in August
School list so far (Lived in Illinois my entire life, moving to Wisconsin for work this month):
