Hi everyone! I'm super blessed to have received a few DO acceptances so far but honestly am having a hard time deciding between them. My LECOM deposit is coming up soon and idk if I should put down that deposit vs my other choices. I honestly feel like I hear the same complaints and pros about every school (at least on reddit) so I just wanted to come on here to see if there's anything different to be said 🙂 saying all of that my options as of right now are

ACOM
LMU DCOM
NSU KPCOM
Noorda-COM
Touro-COM
LECOM Seton Hill

(interview with PCOM South GA set for late October)

If anyone has any thoughts or advice that would be super helpful 🙂 As of right now I'm interested in a neurology or ob/gyn/fetal med speciality if that is helpful to know lol

Avoid newer schools, avoid private loans, otherwise a DO is a DO no matter what school you graduate from, so go with the cheapest option you can get unless there are obvious red flags (high attrition rates, low board pass rates, accreditation warnings, poor clinical training, etc.)

NSU, by virtue of the fact that they have a parallel allopathic program, means the MD/DO programs are only nominally different. I would imagine that they all rotate through the same hospitals and receive the same opportunities.

My LECOM friends were not happy, to say the least. Many of them struggled to pass boards.
