Lack of research will hurt at the research powerhouses, and the medical mission trip will be treated as medical tourism. But, you should aim higher.

I suggest:

Case
U VA or U MI
U AZ
U VM
U Cincy
Ohio State
UCLA,
Miami
Tulane
Albert Einstein
Emory
BU
USC/Keck
Mayo
Rochester
Dartmouth
Duke
Pitt
Hofstra
U WA
WSU

@Goro

Considering that it's 6 months since I posted this WAMC and there is new MSAR data, I have updated my EC stats. Academics and MCAT the same as before:

Free clinic receptionist / clinic manager: 140 hours [current]

Research:
Volunteer ED research associate: 100 hours
Volunteer Research Technician with some 3D modeling: 400 hours

Shadowing:
Neurology: 24 hours
Urology: 24 hours
Primary Care: probably 20 hours by June 2018

Nonclinical ECs
Homeless Shelter: 80 hours [current]
Tutoring (total): 300 hours [current]
Fast Food: >5000 hours
Resident Advisor (x1 semester): 330 hours
Various leadership roles at volunteer organization and fraternity + volunteerism: >600 hours

Achievements
5-star regional conference from fraternity
Outstanding Officer Award from volunteer organization
2 scholarships from volunteer organization, 1 scholarship from Biology Department
Honor Roll 2x in Community College, 5x in Four-Year Undergraduate

I now have a mostly finalized school list; how good is this list? Are there schools I should remove or add?

Pitt
Case
Ohio State
Dartmouth

Hofstra
Rochester
