Hi everyone,

I saw another post about someone wanting to apply to every school, and he/she got some negative feedback about that being excessive. I'm not applying to every school, but right now I'm applying to quite a few (27). I'm really worried about my undergrad GPA, and I'm pretty sure this is my last kick at the can, so I was planning to just apply to as many as I can. Can you guys help me modify my current list (add or take out certain schools)?

-Canadian re-applicant (applied to 16 schools 2 cycles ago; no interviews/acceptances)
-undergrad cGPA 3.2, undergrad sGPA 2.9; master's (biology) sGPA 4.0
-combined cGPA: 3.32
-combined sGPA: 3.21
-DAT: AA 22, TS 23, PAT 21, Carving 29, Bio 20, Chem 29, RC 19
-Awards: many
-ECs: 1000 hrs+
-Research: 300hrs ish (no publications)
-dental experience: 1000 hrs+
-schools: creighton, penn, tufts, midwestern AZ, case, boston, pittsburgh, louisville, NYU, midwestern IL, marquette, nova, maryland, temple, minnesota, michigan, oregon, VCU, indiana, kentucky, USC, iowa, new jersey, UDM, pacific, buffalo

thanks for all your help!

I believe some of those schools do not accept international applicants.

Your DAT is good but that gpa needs to get up. It will really be tough to get in especially if you are from outside the US because they will think your 3.2 isn't from a in state school, thereby lowering your chances a bit. Are you a minority in anyway? That might help... Any chance you could get residency of good ole USA?
