I have been studying for the step for about 10 weeks. My exam is in 5 days.
By studying I mean serious studying, about 6-10 hours a day. Kaplan, First Aid, U world, an goljan audio.
I have delayed my exam 3 times because of my NBMEs. My last nbme was 3 days ago and I scored only 390 (199).
I have been working very very hard, taking 1 day off when I need it once in awhile, but it is not enough. I plan to take another NBME 2 days before the exam. I want to be well above 400 before taking the exam.
If I don't do well on NBME I wont rush myself to write. The question is. I will be absolutely burnt out at this point. Should I take a week off and then get back to studying or will this totally throw me off? Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated.
