Hi everybody
i will start studing 4 usmle now and i wanna a videos and also another references in addition 2 USMLE books (bc in the preface of usmle's book said tht thrs another references and shouldn't depend on lecture notes ONLY )

take a look at the "official 2010 usmle step 1 experiences and scores" thread. i think that's the best way to find the effective resources that people used to study. i could tell you what i think, but it would be much more useful for you to read up on the experiences of hundreds of people who were successful.

I am not even sure what you are asking. Do you need advice for books or how to get started. I think the way you phrased it makes it difficult to comprehend what you want as advice.

I think the first thing you should do is read the forum, do a search and find out what people recommend.

You MUST have FA, RR or BRS path and UWorld as part of your study material. I have been using Kaplan videos in addition to those with HY Neuro and HY Cell and Molecular Biology. I also watched a few DIT videos. I would recommend Kaplan much more over DIT.

Go to www.amazon.com and look those up.

FA = First Aid for the USMLE Step 1
RR = Rapid Review for Pathology
BRS = Board Review Series

There are enough resources out there for you to make a good schedule. Here is a good place to get started. www.firstaidteam.com
