I had a shoplifting incidence when I was 19 ( three years before) and I had a take a class to get it erased from my record. I remember the lawyer told me that It will be erased from your record after 6 months. Now, should I report it on my aacomas/amcas or not? and if i have to then how much will it hurt my application?

I will really appreciate anyone's opinion who actually have knowledge of my situation.

You probably want to do a background check on yourself to see what information is publicly available and get in touch with the same lawyer. If it's not on your record then it probably does not need to be reported. But it might be a good idea to have that confirmed by a lawyer anyway.

You had a deferred prosecution. The only problem is that it varies state to state on the "deferral" part. Here in North Carolina if you get a deferred prosecution you are supposed to stay out of trouble for six months if you so much as get a seat belt ticket you are SCREWD!!!!!!
