Hey, I know I'm late with my application compared to alot of people on here, so that's why I'm pretty stressed out. hahaha. I'm almost done, but am stuck on the list of schools I should apply to. If someone could take a look at my list and let me know if i should add any, or take out some, i'd greatly appreciate your help, and i'll return the favor or comment on your MDapps if you'd like. here are my stats first:

MCAT: 30+
cGPA: 3.8+
sGPA: 3.8+

I am a California resident. Here's my list of schools (based on the school selection spreadsheet posted on SDN):

Brown
Einstein
USC
UC Irvine
Boston
Penn State
UC Davis
Georgetown
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton
Albany
OHSU
Jefferson
MC Wisconsin
Loma Linda
University of Okalahoma
Temple
New York Medical College
Drexel
George Washington

Should I add more easier schools or do i already have too many? Thanks! let me know what you guys think!

Since you are CA resident and you have good GPA, I would say...add UCLA and UCSF. They will just cost you a few more bucks.

Your list is nice and broad, but I agree that you should milk your CA residency for all it's worth, especially since you're planning to apply to so many schools anyway. As far as that goes, keep in mind the cost of AMCAS, secondaries, interviews, and more, and also make sure you don't get burned out when all the secondaries come pouring in. If you'd like to add another "lower tier" school, I'd recommend St. Louis University - comparable to Creighton, NYMC, MCW, etc. in terms of selectiveness and size and cost and (imo) awesomeness (doesn't mean you'll like it though, just a suggestion).

Also, you're not late! Good grief, it's only mid-June! Try to keep in mind that the people you'll encounter on SDN are a very small subset of the pre-med population. Relax, it's okay, you're absolutely fine!

Apply to all five UC med schools! Forget Oklahoma. Unless you have close ties to the state, you won't be considered. Consider Rochester, St Louis U, and Wake Forest.

I didn't want to include UCLA and UCSF cuz I know my chances are close to zero with my stats and lack of publications hahaha.

But you guys are right, I might as well shell out a few more bucks, and who knows, I might get lucky =)

thanks for the suggestions!

I will definitely add those schools you guys suggested!
