4A (s) + 2 B (g) <---> 4 C (g)

K = 50

Which is false?

a) K = [C]^4/^2
b) K = sqrt(1/50) for 2C (g) <---> 2A (s) + B (g)
c) Changing the pressure will not change K
d) K= 2(50) for 8A (s) + 4B (g) <--> 8C (g)
e) B and C

a) is true just by looking at the numbers
b) is true because we are halving the equation and reversing it
c) this is where it is weird. On the solution it says that "only temperature will change a K value, not a catalyst." I thought that increasing pressure would favor the side with least amount of moles. on our example, if we increased pressure would it not shift to the left? and viceversa to the right?
d) This is false because doubling the Concentrations would square the K.

the solution says the answer is only D. shouldnt it be C as well?

K is only affected by temperature, and nothing else can change C. So C becomes a true statement.

Then what does changing the pressure shift when it is decreased/increased? I remember reading that if you increase the pressure, the side with the least Moles is favored. I think I am confusing K with something else.

This is true but it effects which side the reaction favors. K is constant and not affected by pressure.
