I have been procrastinating my application due to the fact that i have to explain my OUI from when i was 18. It is considered a misdemeanor and i have to explain it but what am i supposed to write... "i drove drunk and got arrested and spent the night in jail..." or do i get specific like my breathalizer was ___....or what do you think should be my plan of attack because i really have to get this app sent out ASAP! helpp pleeease

I'd write something about what it is, why you made that mistake, and what you learned from it. Maybe you've matured a lot since you were 18 for example and learned from your mistake. I wouldn't post your BAC unless you're trying to impress them with it.

I would definitely go with a sincere minimalist approach. People make mistakes.
