My letters of rec are written by the GSIs (graduate student instructor), kinda like a TA, and signed by the professor and the GSI I think since professors rarely write letters in my school. SO for the application I was wondering if I should put the prof.'s name and title (Dr.) and put the GSI's address? cause if I put the GSI's name the title would be Ms. or Mr., and if I don't even mention the prof's name once they see the letters they'r be like who the heck is this? so any opinions?

i think it really depends on "who did u ask for ref letter"
did you ask the GSI? or did you ask the prof?

the most important thing is to have ur application matched to whatever title is on the letter.
if it's not matched, it won't be processed (my guess)

Wel the GSis write the letter and prof. signes as well which shows he/she was involved in it too. That's what a lot of people did. So can I write the prof's name, but write the GSI's address, So if they ever contacted the GSI the GSIs can tell them aout the prof?

I don't know well that will weigh to the D School with GSI's writting the letter.
