Very brief resume:
Florida Resident, non URM
4.00 514 (131/124/129/130)
2 Research labs, no pubs but 1 very strong letter
400+ hours clinical volunteering at both hospital and free clinic for underserved. Also volunteered on ambulances
Decent nonclinical volunteering (~150 hours), mainly with underserved as well
80 hours shadowing in surgery
TA for gen chem for 3 years (very strong letter here)
Small part time job as well

I will apply to all Florida schools (including NOVA MD), and I need help with the rest. I'm scared that my CARS score will limit me, but I've been told to not retake a 514. Here's what I have so far.
  1. Quinnipiac
  2. Tufts
  3. New York Medical College
  4. Hofstra
  5. Einstein
  6. Seton Hall
  7. Drexel
  8. Temple
  9. Jefferson
  10. George Washington
  11. Oakland Beaumont
  12. Western Michigan
  13. Medical College Wisconsin
  14. Rosalind Franklin
  15. Loyola
  16. St. Louis
  17. Tulane
  18. Wake Forest
  19. Dartmouth
  20. Brown
  21. Rush
  22. Albany
  23. Wayne State
  24. Ohio State
  25. Ann Arbor
  26. Eastern Virginia
  27. Iowa
  28. Louisville
  29. Cincinnati
  30. Penn State
  31. Michigan State
  32. Mount Sinai
  33. Emory
  34. Larner-Vermont
  35. Colorado
  36. Uconn
  37. Upitt
  38. Virginia commonwealth
  39. Wright state
  40. Case

You could remove many of the state public schools that strongly favor their own residents such as Wright State, UConn, Michigan State, Louisville, Iowa. Also Case Western, Mount Sinai, Emory, Brown, U Michigan, Ohio State are reaches.

Thanks! BTW, what makes a lot of those schools a reach? Do they screen CARS or something? Like the MSAR has Emory at 3.8 and 515, and I think I'm at least in the 25-75 for most/all of those schools.

Yes, but those numbers include legacies, those who attended the undergraduate school, URM, veterans. All of whom will be given preference over you. For example 40% of Brown's class is from their own undergraduates.
