You won't find a place that has old board questions to the NBEO. They are copyrighted protected, and I doubt people would be willing to post past questions that they remember. I don't think past test-takers want the test they studied really hard for to be de-valued with questions being given out.

Some people I knew had questions off the NBEO part 1 of 1977 but the boards have changed so much in the past thirty years. Optics isn't emphasized as much as it once was (that's what the questions were about).

You can buy the Berkeley guide if you wish, but i think its a pointless book.
Just my opinion of course. The USMLE part 1 is a pretty decent book, but only purchase it if you really really want it, because it focuses a lot of pneumonic memory saying to help you remember the material (great for pharm material).

Class notes will be vital prepatory materials.

Biology material is highly emphasized, with ocular A/P. I wouldn't spend a lot of time on ocular pharmacology (that's more engrained in NBEO part 2, TMOD, and PAM questions).

Yep, that's the legal way to study, off of that book and notes.
Good luck finding the others circulating under the table nobody will admit they have it. Just find the right buddy, get him or her really drunk then maybe you can get it out of them. Good Luck.
