HI folks,
I am doing some research into how other DO schools organize their time (hours in lecture each day, timing of exams, and breaks)
and was pretty please hoping that other DO students would be able to PM me their school lecture schedules. I am also interested in the pros and cons of how your schedule worked.

Are block exams better than just randomly placed exams? Do your different course talk to each other or do you find that the exams are often conflicting? Do you find lectures helpful, or are they a waste of time? Are you in class more than 4 hours a day? Are the exams placed so that when you leave on breaks you actually get a break or do you come back to exams?

So if you have a couple of minutes, would you mind emailing me your lecture/exam schedule, school, and if you really have time any pros or cons?

Thanks a bunch in advance!
Marcia

Seeing MSU's schedule is great.

I am actually a first year at PCOM-GA, so I am not doing research for chosing a school per se.

if anyone else has a link I would love it!
Thanks!
Marcia

Thanks, but do you guys have an excel/pdf/word doc that actually goes into the daily schedule hour by hour? I am trying to see how much time is acutally spent in lecture, etc.

I am going to a lot of websites, but they seem to be too generic for what i need.
Thanks!
Marcia

marciah, you seem to want very specific information. This tends to vary from year to year to some degree, so what someone from a class might send you this year may not be totally true for next year. Perhaps you would have better luck contacting the curriculum offices or admissions offices directly of those schools you are interested in getting an hourly schedule from.
