At a minimum, a high school diploma.
To be one of the workers who just do what they are told, a High School Diploma.
To be active as a researcher, a doctorate. To be the boss, Must have published several papers and most like have a higher degree than Doctorate. In the UK, the sequence is: High School Diploma (A Levels), Graduate (with a degree), Doctorate (Means you have been trained to do research), Doctor of Science (several papers published and an acknowledged expert), Professor.
