I have 3 recommendations so far... my neurophysiology teacher, my physiology teacher, and a D.O. letter. I am applying to both MD and DO. Do I absolutely need a third letter from a teacher? Been out of school for 1.5 years, can't get a letter from a prof.

I am working at a hospital doing OR spreadsheet work as an assistant ... can I get a letter from my boss? Would that work? Or do I need a professor.

I only have two professors: one science and one non-science. So far, I've finished 6 secondaries and haven't run into a problem. If you think you would get a valuable letter from your boss, I would go ahead and get one - you're always able to submit more than just the bare minimum required.

:luck:

Nope, I have four. Only two professors. My other two are research PI/boss, and MD/PhD who trained me in administering an EEG, among other things.

so do you think I'll be alright with my 3 recommendations?

Yea, I personally think you will. If you think you can get one more good one, by all means do it... but then again, schools have to read so many, I'm sure they prefer quality over quantity. Pick the best of them, and run with it. 👍
