HELP!! Ohio application status

So I just checked my status on AADSAS and next to OSU it says "Withdrew Before Action"...does this mean I was rejected?

That AADSAS page is so lame. One column says status and the other says status defined, but they both have the same entry. In the FAQ section it gives this number for questions on status, probably too late today though.

mine says 'received/under review' under the status column for ohio. i would call and ask.

I am really starting to freak out here. They arent in the office again until Monday. Anyone have a clue what it means?

to me, it sounds like an error. it seems like the status indicates that you withdrew before they took any action to look at ur application? this is how i interpreted it. just call again on monday i'm sure it's all good.

Don't spend your weekend worrying about it. You have a few days off and worrying about your status on a website means you will turn around on Sunday a nervous wreck waiting on Monday to arrive so you can call at the earliest. Don't put yourself through that.

Monday will roll around, and you'll get your answer then. You obviously didn't "withdraw" before the application, so it's either a mistake in your favor or it means you have been rejected this cycle.

Let Saturday and Sunday be your days of relaxation and catching up on other business. You'll get your answer on Monday, so there's no reason to broach the matter until you call them up. If it's a mistake, then you worried for nothing. If you were rejected, you still worried for nothing.

This country is filled with dental schools, and I'm sure you applied to more than one.

I agree with the last guy, "withdrew" does not sound like something they do but more like an action you would take. Must be an error. Or maybe someone there has a sick sense of humor and they wanted to ruin your weekend. I wouldn't sweat it.

according to your old posts, you have a lot of interviews...let's just say worse case scenario..you are rejected.............you have great stats and other interviews!....Are you from Ohio?

I'm not sure if you have figured it out yet but its a mistake on the website and it happened to a lot of people. Be sure to call if it's not fixed on Monday but I called and they fixed mine so it is nothing to worry about.

^^ I also was able to confirm that it's a mistake when i called ohio earlier today. but don't call monday, the lady told me to call back tuesday if the status hasn't been changed.

Are you serious? I sure hope that it is a mistake, Ohio is one of my top choices. I would be so relieved right now if that is the truth. Thanks for the replies and info.

Interesting. I just checked mine and got same status. I did not "withdrew".

Yep, almost everything has been taken care of. I recieved a call from Mike on Monday about my "withdrew before action" status. He said it was a mistake on their part, that they accidentally linked the status to my account and many others. They have yet to change the status on aadsas though. Thanks for the input.

Did they ever end up changing the status with the whole "withdrew before action" business for you guys? I talked to them on the phone a long while ago and they said they would fix it and that it wasnt an issue, but they never changed my status.
