hey all, so I am new to this and I am non traditional as I already have my DPT. I am going for DO school. I am trying to get early acceptance also. I have a verified cGPA of 3.6, sGPA of 3.6, and last 120 hr GPA of 3.77. I get my MCAT is going to be returned on June 14th. What tips do y'all have?

GPAs are good. Shad ow a DO and get LOR from same. IF there is a DO school within driving distance, go visit and chat up the DO faculty. My colleagues love it when people do this.

Also be able to explain why you running to Medicine and not merely away from DPT.

Why not apply to MD programs if you get a high MCAT? Why DO?

I love the holistic pt care that a DO gives you. I believe in more of the DO mind set vs MD. I really want to be a DO not really a MD.

I also found out that my cGPA will be 3.78 due to VCOM only looking at the last 120 hrs cumulatively. So that helps even more.
