HELP: Passing CS in time to start July 1st residency?

Hi,

So I took CS in the Jan 1 - Feb 25 Block. Feel like crap about it. I'm praying I passed this test. In event that I failed, would Feb 26-Apr 22 be the next block I can take it w/ possibility of getting results back by start of residency July 1st? seems like most slots are booked? Can you pre-book a test date in advance if though u didn't get results back? what percentage of students pass?

Jan 1 through Feb 25: Report Mar 29-Apr 26
Feb 26 through Apr 22: Report May 24-Jun 21
Apr 23 through May 20: Report Jun 21-Jul 19

What's official date that residency programs need CS results? If you match and get delayed by CS, what happens? Thanks.

Hi Bulldog,
I have some answers, but not all, to your questions. If you fail, you can reapply at any time. However, you can't choose a test date that's earlier than 60 days after your last test. So say you took it 1/10. That means the earliest you can take it is 3/12 (the 11th being Sunday). That should be plenty of time for reports to be back.
I think residencies are variable in requiring you to have passed it or not to start. That information can be found on Freida.

I'm worried also. Don't you have to pay the $1000 before you can register again?

Can you pay register and then get a refund?
