Help PAT Angles :O

I know people already have threads about the CrackPAT angles, but I'm going from 6 one time and 12 another time, does anyone really have a good strategy? because I find I waste a lot of time trying to pick them out and sometimes even after a minute I still cant differentiate b/w 2 of them...

I realize this might be the easiest section for some people... but I hate it... :O
 
Don't laugh.... but...

I use my two thumbs to cover up the angles (so that it makes a triangle with my thumb being the third side) to compare which angle is bigger than the other.

I usually place my thumbs like couple mm away from where the angles starts.

I've been doing this after my 2nd CDP test and been scoring around 13-14 on the angles each test.

for me, looking at it really quickly then ranking it seem to help.

i rather do keyholes/TFE than this angle stuff...

Does anyone know whether the real DAT pictures will be bigger than crack the dat? Thanks

jimber, that is one sick score. Still busy trying to master everything so that I could guarantee at least a 13 on each part.

I can safely say that I "mastered" (haha... don't make fun of me) on the cube counting and the TFE as in 15/15 each time. So i can definitely help you on those sections for sure.
 
The angle ranking does suck on the real DAT, but you can always do what I do and break down the question.

The answers are always going to be like this
smallest------->largest
1,2,3,4
2,1,3,4
1,2,4,3
2,1,3,4

That's a pretty simple one but the idea is the same for all of them. With the excpetion of 2 or 3, they always list the largest and the smallest angles as a choice between two of them. I would look at angles 3 and 4, determine which one is smaller, find which of the answer choices match that, then match the 1 and 2. Even the tuff ones will alternate between 2 angles at some point in the list.
Maybe the 2 smallest or largest, or maybe the two in the middle. fiquring out which is smaller of those 2 angles helps you eliminate 2 of your choices and makes the rest way easier in my opinion.
 
Can you put your hand up to the monitor? I heard doing so can get your score void. Does anyone know where I can find official rules for something like that?
