HELP Please! retake the DAT?

Hello Everyone,
I really need some advice regarding making a decision to re write the DAT or not. This is my situation: I am from Canada and I am applying for American dental school (the private ones) . My DAT score are as follow Bio 19, Gchem 22, PAT 19, RC 16, Carving 25 . Science total:20 AA:19---- GPA: 3.43

I submitted my AADSAS application late in summer, but since I wrote the Nov DAT , so the dental schools just received my DAT score🙁
So my concern is should I push myself to re-take the Feb DAT, consider the fact that I am working full-time too? Do I have any chances this cycle ?

Any advice /help would be greatly appreciated .

I think you need the american DAT if you're applying to american schools...

Some canadian verify this please.

I have no idea if the Canadian DAT applies to US schools... however I would say that by Feb most of the interview slots have been taken so I don't see it helping much this year.

Thanks a lot for your inputs, most of the private dental schools do accept the Canadian DAT. I was wondering if my scores are competitive enough or not. Should I write the FEB one for the next cycle? especially since my RC score is low.
And do I have any chance of getting interviews this cycle?

I would re-take it. If memory serves me correctly there are quite a few school swith a minimum score cut-off of 17 or so. Even though your AA and GPA are fine, this could hinder your app. Hope this helps! 👍
