Ok so I just received a call.

So .... UMD vs BUFFALO...opinions? I need to make a decision. and FAST.

Lets assume cost difference is not that much.
Opinions on the programs for both schools?

does anyone else think poutine sounds dirty?
hahaha sorry...im a little stressed....

i've never had them before, personally.

my problem is that there are good points to both locations. curse my indecisiveness. maybe i should try some poutine in order to make a more informed decision...

Think about it this way based on location alone... Baltimore has a crazy crime rate (its beside DC), while Buffalo is beside Canada. Secondly, if you like gambling.... go across the bridge to Niagara Falls, there's 2 huge casinos by the Falls. And about the poutine remark, I'm Canadian and I don't even like poutine

I know Maryland has brand new facilities and is supposed to be REALLY nice. If you are not from NY, I am pretty sure you can go to Buffalo and establish residency after one year. That would make Buffalo significantly cheaper. I would choose Maryland because I would die in that horrible Buffalo weather and I hate the Bills.

alrite here's what i've got:

buffalo: wings, good. poutine, bad. weather=cold

maryland: new facility, good. the getting shot, bad.

so which would you prefer:

eating wings while freezing in the cold
vs
walking home from a nice building and getting shot

kidding.

any other advice would be much appreciated (anybody have ideas about the programs or current students?)! 👍

Football and crabcakes...that's what Maryland does. Although if 8 months of sub -zero temperatures and blinding snowstorms are your thing, then go to buffalo.
