Having a truly hard time deciding between both schools. I am wanting to pursue a competitive specialty so I honestly just want to choose the school that has the best chance of getting me there! My biggest support system person is my partner, who after finishing their schooling in December would most likely follow me wherever I go, permitting he gets a job. So, the support system discussion can change.
Anyways, would love any opinions of current or previous students at these institutions if possible. Thank you in advance!

- know people there, would have a support system
- recently match was really good, had a neurosurg match
- weather lol
- know the area as I went to college in south florida
- CoA is higher than DMU
- graded curriculum
- heard that the better connections are in florida, however would like to not stay in FL for residency
DMU COM
Pros
- P/F curriculum
- OG school, good connections
- lower CoA than Nova
- newer facilities/more amenities
- seems to be more organized?
- small city, area I am not familiar with and don't know many people
- unsure if they are as good for competitive specialties?
- have heard rotations can be messy, moving around every month and seem to be very concentrated in the midwest - although I wouldn't mind the mayo clinic rotation lol
