I just finished my Kaplan FL 2 and made a 25 😱👎. That's what I made on my diagnostic a little over a month ago. My PS improved to 10, but Verbal went down to a disgusting 7 (I've been making 9-10 on Section tests) and Biological was an 8.

I'm taking the test June 16th. I would reschedule to later immediately, but I'm applying this cycle so I don't want to be too late. I was hoping for a low-30s score, 33-34. What should I do between now and test day, unless you think I should move it? I plan to just start taking a ton of practice exams I guess.

Freaking out right now...

With two weeks to go, you certainly don't sound ready.

Have you taken any AAMC's yet? Take 3 to see where you are. I don't think you're going to be ready in time. Your target score sounds like a bit of a longshot at this point. Your score on the aamc will be the decider though.

Could go other way.. I would say you should take another by the end of this week, preferably AAMC as that's what you should be focusing on close to test date, and unless you're hitting 30s on the first couple then I would reschedule ASAP. I took Kaplan FL 2 last Thursday and I can attest to the difficulty of the verbal as I also got a 7... probably my lowest verbal score ever. However, I only got 4 wrong on the BS section and pulled an 11 on the PS so I still had a respectable score.. I'm saying that only because I feel I have A LOT of content to review before I'm comfortable content-wise for the exam.. Chances are KFL 2 just catered to what I already knew but seeing as to how I don't think I know too much yet, I was under the assumption there wasn't a wide array of topics covered.
Go over the exam ASAP though and see where you made your mistakes. I got a 28 on KFL 1, the same as my diagnostic, but when going over it I made MANY dumb mistakes and my timing was also horrible, missing a whole PS passage(straight blanks) and guessing on a whole verbal passage. Though that sucked, it gave me confidence going into KFL 2 knowing that if I was to finish on time and cut down on silly mistakes I could automaticaly boost my score a few points. Maybe the same could be said for you and your next exam.

Thanks for the help. I too had a huge timing problem on verbal, and even more so on physical sciences (which was still my highest section at a 10 - at least it improved).

I rescheduled my date for July 16th, so I feel more comfortable now. I think a lot of my problems for this came from poor timing and some dumb mistakes (also caused by poor timing).
