I just got an interview invite from WashU today, and they said that they interview through Feb. 27. I was wondering if there's any advantage to rushing and interviewing earlier (like next week), rather than a couple weeks later. I know that they are rolling, but does a week or two make any difference?

I am getting ready to call them to try to schedule it, so I'd appreciate any quick opinions anyone has. Thank you.

not a big difference...
don't worry about it.

most decisions go out in april apparently.. so its all good if all u want is an acceptance..

unless scholarships are a concern.. then i don't really know.

From what I recall from other threads, the scholarship deadline was Feb 1. So it really doesn't matter anymore for those.

Good luck on your interview! Hopefully it wont be too cold when you visit.

I'm interviewing this week, and I've been a little worried that it's late in the interview season. I was concerned that most spots have been filled. So it's nice to hear that spots appear to be filled through April. Does anyone else have any related info?

from an earlier thread:

while i know absolutely nothing at all for certain, i don't think their class is filled. i think they accepted ~50 people in november and ~50 in december. for the most part, those are the ones who get to apply for their merit scholarships. i'm not sure if they've accepted the same ~50 in mid-january, but even if they did, that makes ~150 acceptances for a class of 120. i would think they would need to make at least 100 more acceptances to fill their class. also, i have heard that they accept a big group before the end of the year and then pretty much everyone else won't hear until late-march/april

(again, remember that i am not positive of any of this)
