I am currently a Masters student, 2 classes, along with practicum & internship left in Counseling. My interests are in Wellness, Insight/Intuition, First responders, Military, anxiety/stress & PTSD. I hope that's enough background... 🙂 My dilemma is related to persuing a post masters degree. I have no clue what would allow me freedom to practice, earn a living, all while doing what interests me. I would like to obtain a doctorate but in what... that's my biggest issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might consider searching the doc forum; you'll find a host of information regarding the benefits and pitfalls of doctoral training (in psych), academia and research, etc.

Is there some reason you cannot do the things you are interested in as a CMHC/LPC resident? I am not hearing anything in your interests that requires you to be a clinical psychologist.
