Hey everyone...new poster. This site is amazing, hehe.

I tried to run a search, but my computer is ridiculously slow. Sorry if this seems redundant. I'm in a bit of a bind right now...I graduated from Hopkins a while back with a 3.39, 27S (7P, 10B, 10V) and thought I had my sci gpa around a 3.2. BUT I forgot that AMCAS averages all retaken classes, so my sci gpa has dropped to around a 2.98. Does AACOMAS also average the grades of course repeats? Someone told me once that "F" grades don't get included or something.

I'm retaking my mcat in august and know i can boost my mcat scores, but i'm a bit worried about my applications to D.O. school now. My reccs/ECs/volunteer stuff is pretty strong and i'm still using the hop committee process. Any advice?

DOs, unlike MD schools, take only the most recent grade.

Cool, thanks I wasn't too sure about that. So I only have to list the most recent grade on the aacomas?

Your GPA will include ONLY THE LATEST GRADE - but the medical schools will still see all your grades. Try and make sure most of those "bad" grades are form a long time ago - they won't care much about those (personal experience)
