Help review my list: 3.88 GPA/ 34Q

Hi Everyone,

I'll be applying this summer and I just wanted a critique of my school list. Here's a list of my stats and ECs:

MCAT: PS 14/ BS 12/ V 8
GPA: Biochem Major 3.88 cGPA/ 3.88 sGPA

ECs:

President of Pre-med Club
Service Chair of Pre-med Club for 2 years (Lots of clinical volunteering)
Service Chair of Fraternity for 2 years (Did a lot of non-clinical volunteering here)
Pre-med Shadowing Program Volunteer (Shadowed in every department of the hospital accumulating over 180 hours)

Biochem Ambassador
Bio & Chem tutor

Teaching Assistant for Upper Level Chem course for 1 semester
Teaching Assistant for Pre-med seminar next year


Research:

1 year of Genetics research my freshman year
4 months of clinical research in an ED
Participating in 1.5 years of cardiovascular surgery research

Consider also: Rush, Tufts, GW, Albany, Hofstra, MCW, SLU

Thanks! I looked up the schools you mentioned. Tufts and GW really appealed to me the most out of your list. Should I consider adding more reach schools? I feel that I have enough competitive and safety schools.

You could if you are willing to shell out the extra dough. Your VR score will hurt your chances at competitive schools though as an 8 is around the 10th percentile at top schools.
