Help! Should I attempt a late retake of a 504 if I've already submitted?

I have a 3.8 GPA and 3.9 sGPA. Pretty standout service/healthcare EC's.
My 504 MCAT (at least 125 each section) can definitely be improved to 512 or better if I retake 2 or 3 months from now (Sept 9 is last acceptable test date for this cycle) if I work on test nerves and timing.

I already submitted. I'm contemplating a retake still because if I get waitlisted or put on hold or something, I can send an update letter with my new MCAT and ask for a new review...........

Which would be better?
--Retake late this cycle for 512+ and send in update
--Wait and hope for the best but retake next year if no luck

I applied to allo schools with av MCAT <507, but would like to add some higher tier ones if I could do better.... (note: I'm not open to DO and have considered it extensively)

I'm just stuck unsure what to do......... Please help with any advice!

Applying with an MCAT score that you perceive to be subpar is a bad idea.

Why not retake to achieve the best score you feel as though you possibly can AND THEN apply?

Being a second time applicant is an uphill battle though success can result in instances of great improvement.

I've already submitted. I'm looking for advice on whether I should add on a late retake.

The timing and the result would determine the outcome.
The maximum benefit would be a much better score that arrived before the decision to interview was made.
The worst outcome would be a lower score that arrived early enough to have an effect on the decision to interview.
A likely outcome would be a similar score that arrived too late to make much difference.
