I'm going to take the DAT this summer, but I won't apply to dschool until next year. I won't have a degree in history until next the fall of 2011. As of now, my sciGPA is 2.7 😳
Should I take all science classes THIS coming fall to boost my sciGPA up? It won't really count as a post-bacc but it'll just be me taking science courses to boost my sciGPA. So...what should I do?

If I were you, I would definitely start loading on the science courses and boost that sgpa. Then, I would take your DAT next spring. It really doesn't seem like there is any advantage to taking it this summer for you. The more science classes you take the better you should do on your DAT and if you are committed to dentistry, then you want to consider your DAT scores expiring if you don't get in the first cycle. Essentially, if you are taking it this summer, you might waste a year of eligible DAT scores.
