Help! Timeframe for acceptance at AZ

I need some information to help relieve my nerves and excitement. I interviewed at ASDOH at the end of Jan. 2004 and was told by the asst. dean that the normal time frame to hear anything is 2 weeks to 2 months and that no news is good news. Some other applicant at my interview mentioned to me that if you do not hear anything within two weeks that basically you're regected. Is this true? It has been 2 weeks and three days since my interview. I absolutely loved ASDOH and am praying that I get in there. I think my interview went very well, since the student that sat in on it told me later that I was one of the best interviews she had ever sat in on. By the way, should an acceptance envelope always be a fat one? Thanks for any advice!!😕

I interviewed at ASDOH in mid-December. I was also told by the assistant dean that no news is good news. I haven't heard anything from them since then. I have talked to people at the office of admission to find out my status, but I have received NO information at all from them.

I completely understand how you feel. This lack of communication from the school only builds up more and more anxiety.

I hope you get into your school of first choice!

Thanks. It is good to hear that someone else is feeling the same. Unfortunately, this is my first pick and only interview this year. I was talking to one student there that got accepted on the spot when he interviewed there last year.🙁 Maybe no news is good.

Not that it matters anymore, but I haven't heard anything from them since I interviewed there on SEPTEMBER 29th.....!

I had an interview at AZ in Jan. and never heard from them since that time. I tried to call them but I only get an answering machine. It is not my first choice and I don't really care about being accepted to AZ( I was accepted to a school I really like), but it would be nice to know the results since I spent money for the application and trip to Arizona.
I've heard that it was easier to get into this school last year because the school was very new and less people applied there.
Anyway, I'll try to call them again........

The acceptance letter don't usually come in big fat ones.. My acceptance came in a really tiny envelope, and it came exactly after a week after my interview.. So.. I don't know.. some do come quick.. some come later.. so.. 🙄

Interviewed on Feb. 18 and got accepted via phone the very next day. Very excited, school seemed awesome!

Yes, I do remember talking to you Gavin. I am almost positive that I will be heading out there; just have to talk things over with the family. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the school including the faculty and students. I am sure I will have lots of questions for you. I have also been talking to Chris via e-mail, great guy. Gavin, that sounds like fun. Unfortunately I didn?t get to spend much time out there other than the interview being that I had an exam yesterday. I am trying to find some time in the near future to go back out there and spend some quality time. I might need a tour guide, any takers?

Thanks a lot! I was also told that no news is good news at the end of the interview, so I would hang in there if I were you. Fortunately for me I did not have to wait very long, but just keep your fingers crossed. If it is meant to be it will happen. Hopefully everything works out and we will be classmates! Gook luck!
