Hey just wanted your expert opinions, so I sent in my AADSAS app in october it was sent to the schools on Nov 5, 2008 from AADSAS. I was just wondering from what you know, what is my chance at getting the interview, and when most likely will they be giving interviews to people who applied so late? Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it

sorry about that im gona change it now, I applied to BU, NYU, Mich, UDM, and Buffalo. And yes I plan to stay state side if I get accepted. I'm just sort of freaking out right now because I havent heard anything at all, besides the fact that they received my app. back in oct/november

You applied late man... I applied a month earlier than you and I've only heard back from 2 schools (although 3 others put me on hold). Your stats are good so no worries there. I'm rooting for you but if you don't get in this cycle, don't let it bum you out... just apply early next cycle.

I dont know, I've been looking through a bunch of predent profiles, and schools like BU and UDM havent interviewed/accepted as many people as I would have imagined by now, maybe its just simply because predents is a small source of applicants, but cant hurt to hope right lol

i agree with you abotu UDM and BU, i applied to both back in june and didnt hear anything until dec! i just cancelled an interview at UDM, and am planning on cancelling my one at BU (Feb 20) sometime soon, maybe that will help open up some interview spots!
you did apply late, but you def have a chance!
did you write the can Nov 2008 dat? that could be why you havent heard anyting yet... those scores took way too long to come out

ye i did , so I had to wait on those to come in , in mid - dec (pure bollocks, if you ask me). But we live and learn lol! I'm hoping for interview spots, so if you're opening up, I'm happy lol. Thanks for the vote of confidence btw

Hey, I'm also a Canadian applying in the States. Submitted my application in early September, but did not write my American DAT until the end of October (wanted to write it closer to the time of the Canadian DAT). So far, heard back from Case at the beginning of December. Looks like you have pretty good stats, so hopefully you'll get in with the second round of interviews... at least that's my thinking in this situation. Did you apply to any schools in Canada?

i received an interview at UWO 2 years ago with a 3.7 gpa and 17/18 DAT scores, so I wouldnt count the Canadian schools out yet, its such a crap shoot you never know who might find your app interesting!

yea, trying to spread the optimism 🙂 the UWO interview was pretty robotic, not relaxing at all, lots of ethical qs. not the kind of atmosphere that I thrive in, haha
