Can't you just major in anything and do neuroscience research?

I don't know where you got biotechnology and neurosurgery...

Maybe you meant Bioengineering with a concentration in Neural Engineering?

What majors does your undergrad offer? Look at the course offerings and requirements for those departments/majors. Pick the one with classes that sound most interesting. Most of what you mentioned is way more specialized than you're going to get into in undergrad, and it's possible that no one at your college is researching what you're interested in, so you might have to lower your expectations or look outside for research opportunities. Overall, slow your roll. You're going into college, not a grad program.

👍 i mean a good amount of colleges don't even have a neuroscience major, so for now all you can hope for is to research.

It's just a bit out of the ordinary, but respectable nevertheless.
In answer to your question...
Like said above, see what you can do to satisfy your love. Ask you college.

i actually think he meant it actually is ordinary.. Like half of the people who ask questions want to be a neurosurgeon

not exactly.
i know things about fields i named, but not exact knowing.
Exactly. This is the only advice you need:
  • Pursue a degree you truly desire. (i.e. arts, communications, etc).
  • Apply to medical school.
I know it looks like a very vague plan but trust me, things will change especially in the first four years.

So risky plan, but i think i'll do it.
Thank you so much.
