Help w/ Kaplan Online Final #71

Hi,

Does anyone understand how to do the rotations mentioned in the Kaplan online explanation? How do you rotate about the C-C bond to get the fischer projection?? Is there a step-by-step way to do this?

I'm so confused.

I could not even understand the explanation that was given for the problem. I thought the correct answer should be E. This may be a bad problem.

Yeah, I don't know. I tried doing R and S and comparing the dash/wedge conf. to the fischer proj., but it didn't work....

I tried rotating, I tried everything, but it doesn't ever seem to work 100% !!

Someone please help!

what's kaplan online? is that the one that cost $1000?
