Stats: 3.9 cGPA, 3.92 sGPA, 515 MCAT
ORM (South Asian), Canadian undergraduate student but American citizen, lots of family in NY, traditional student.
Low SES, household income around $25k, hence the underserved volunteering.
ECs:
50 hours shadowing MD
500 hours religious institute volunteering for refugees
100 hours clinical hours
300 hours volunteering (homeless shelter, food bank)
50 hours tutoring high school students chem/bio/phys/math
As I am in Canada but an American citizen, would I just be considered OOS for every single school.
Applying next cycle, I'm not sure which schools to apply to as most OOS friendly schools are very low yield.
Thanks in advance!
