We are looking for users from all disciplines to help spread the word about SDN!

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist the marketing director in conceptualization and implementation of commercial ventures to enhance sponsor recruitment and new member recruitment which would include some of the following but this is not all inclusive:

• Work with Marketing Director on various special projects such as Test Prep Week or newsletters
• Expand partner sites as well as advertising revenues
• Help SDN implement a marketing plan

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Ideal candidates will possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and have creative vision.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate or professional school education desirable.
• Some training and/or experience in marketing preferred but not a requirement.

I am into web design and track the success of my websites. I can somewht track SDN too via organizations like quantcast and other page rankers. The amount of traffic SDN gets and all the google ads they have...well, they make a pretty penny on those alone. Not to mention book sales, donations, etc. They get somewhere like 70,000 hits a day.

When I did google ads I got about 100 hits a day and made roughly 1.00 a day.

Do the math. I would love to volunteer, I am not trying to negate SDN, you can see I use it extensively. I personally just don't have time to walk around Temple's main campus handing out fliers to college kids, etc. It sounds like it would be fun though.

We aren't asking you to walk around and hand out fliers so I'm not really sure where you go that 😕 Did someone edit my marketing job description to state otherwise? 😉

As a non-profit organization, SDN has a mission to help pre-professional and professional students utilizing their volunteer staff. I wish I was getting paid for this but hey, I believe in the greater good!

• If you don't have alot of time but really like SDN, please apply.
  
• If you want to stand outside in the bitter cold and hand out fliers that will be trashed within 10 seconds of receipt, please apply, but note that you probably will be disappointed in this regard. We have better ideas in store 😉
