Unfortunately, I have to scramble. Now, here is the problem. I took Comlex 2 knowledge and PE one day apart and happened to fail both. I never retransmitted my results and it says on my ERAS, will take 01/2010. I am planning on retaking both exams in two weeks.

My question is, when I scramble, should I tell programs I failed or that I just decided to reschedule the exams to April?

Sorry to hear that. About your question, I'm not sure of the rules but logically speaking, you don't have to. Its just like releasing or not releasing your results. Its will not improve your application for the scramble, so why would you release it unless specifically asked about it? Hypothetically, if they ask you when you are planning to take it, you say April and if they ask you about attempts, I guess you would have no choice but to tell them.

Good luck for tomorrow.:luck:

I surely wouldn't tell them about it unless they ask specifically. I don't think that's being dishonest. If they want to know they'll ask about it. If you tell every program, surely it's going to hurt your chances getting in.

and if they 'ask about it' What should I say?

If they ask your results, and you don't tell them, and they find out, they can void your contract later. If they ask, tell them. if they don't, keep your trap shut.

If they specifically ask you about COMLEX 2 scores and passing, I would tell them the truth that I didn't pass. I would tell them what factors I've discovered since that time that kept me from passing. Then I would tell them the steps I have been taking to make sure I pass this time around. I would end by telling them I am confident I will pass and that I hope they would give me a chance as I will never quit.
