HELP! Where do I begin????

Ok I am planning on applying to dental school next year. I am confused on how you apply? Can someone tell me?
I suppose it is differen than applying to grad or even undergrad schools where you have different applications for each school?
And when they say it is good to have your applications in by June/July, how much earlier should you send it to be there on that month?
