Hi,

So I just received this message, help please?

----------------
Your application has been undelivered.

Please add your foreign coursework to your application.

Please modify and then click on 'Pay and Submit'
When you resubmit your application:

  • You will not have to pay again
  • The processing time will not start over again
  • You will not go to the end of the processing queue
Thank you.

--------------

I was study abroad in a program run by my college and my foreign courses were all transferred to my official transcript so I'm not sure what they want.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I'm so pissed right now because now I believe I submitted everything right and now my app is delayed.

This was my response to the support guy:
Hello Alex,I just received this message that asks me to add my foreign coursework to my application.I added all the coursework that I completed at my foreign institution under my Tufts Coursework because Tufts transferred all the foreign grades onto my Tufts official transcript.I'm not sure what to do to solve this issue. Can you clarify this situation as soon as you can?Thank you.

This is the support response:
Hello,
Please indicate which courses were taken abroad by adding the coursework under the foreign school. If there are any further issues you will receive a message like this one indicating how to resubmit your application. Please remember to click pay and submit as the initial message explained.

So I made a separate category for my foreign school only to read this on AACOM site:
List all colleges and universities attended or currently attending, whether for degree programs or for coursework not leading to a degree. Include foreign colleges unless the foreign college was attended as part of a study away program and course work appears on the transcript of the sponsoring U.S. college or university.

Hopefully this doesn't put me in the back of the line to get verified! If someone else runs into this problem, I suggest calling AACOM and not communicate with the support email guy!

😡😡😡

I asked AACOMAS about the same situation. They said it was fine and I didn't have to bring in additional transcripts since the courses were on my home transcript (albeit as P/F versus the grades I actually got).

The guy who responded to you clearly didn't understand the situation.

Hi, so i finally got into contact with aacom over phone and the person said the support email guy was correct and that I was wrong! But she couldn't make sure because the online systems are down for how ever long, she doesn't know. She was very rude to me as well! :bored:

So now I have to wait for the support guy respond to my message or call back when the online systems are up.

Does anyone have an opinion in this matter? If I'm wrong or right?
Thank you!

Seems like the information on the aacom website is outdated. You need to create a separate course listing for your foreign school even though the grades are on your U.S. institution transcript!

I can't remember now if I had to make a separate category for my foreign school, but I definitely didn't have to get a separate transcript.

Yeah, I had to make a separate category for my foreign school and list the courses there. Then I had to delete those same courses from my U.S. institute category. The U.S. transcript still applied to both my U.S. and foreign school though. It was kind of weird but now I'm verified! yay.
