help with cat probelm

hey everyone... i have a nine year old cat that has recently started urinating pretty much wherever he feels like. there is another cat in the household, but we're pretty good about cleaning out the litter box. physically i think he's ok and doesn't have any bladder issues that the vet could find. does anyone have any suggestions on how to curb this behavior?
